人物簡介
Siki Sufin is an Amis artist from ‘Atolan, Taitung. His wood carving work Kowan was shortlisted to Pulima Arts Award in 2014. Kowan in Amis refers to the flying fish in the sea as well as a specific eagle living in the mountains. For the elderly of Amis believe that the mountain and ocean are opposite but also exist side by side. They build Amis peoples’ life style and ritual culture. With the deterioration of environment, however, the nature has worsened and the flying fish culture is dying too.
