人物簡介
Inka Mbing was born in 1954 in Jianshi Township, an Atayal group in Hsinchu County. She was raised largely by her grandmother, and like many indigenous young people, economic necessity forced her to leave her home village and go to the city to make a living. She spent her youth singing in restaurants, her unique voice won her lot of attention.
Long active in the indigenous rights movement in Taiwan, Inka dedicates herself to mother language preservation and cultural heritage by recording and teaching long-lost traditional songs. Atayal children have chances to know their root through music education.
