作品簡介
Kavaluan means lily in the Paiwan language. In the Paiwan and Rukai traditions, lilies represent female chastity. Why have lilies, a symbol with rice meaning, degenerated to a word with which indigenous people use to judge those around them? "The Gaze of Kavaluan" takes chastity as its subject and explores the doubly constructed issue of identity/body, an issue that indigenous people inevitably face. It challenges and investigates chastity and sexual desire simultaneously. By exploring sexual desire, it will arouse a desire that has been sleeping inside you.
