PateRongan is founded by a Kavarawan artist, Tuwak Tuyaw and a fiber artist, Shu-Yen Chen along with the craftsmen in village. There are transparent and semi-open workshop, and showing space. Alluring lights radiates through bamboos at night. This studio is not only a space for founders to create and exhibit but also a platform for local craftsmen and artists to live, work and exchange. It commits to reconnect people with their inner selves and nature by using local natural materials and traditional skills on making crafts. In addition to the promotion and integration of tribe culture, it also actively extend and innovate the traditional craft skills.
