"Traveling back and forth different spaces is for finding a balance between perfection and defeat." This piece, "Between Defeat and Perfection" combines mediums such as acting, performing, recorded images, and installtions with many channels. The content includes the origin myths of the Truku tribe and the decline of indigenous community identity - two difficult issues that modernization has brought about. Additionally, it also discusses changes in indigenous communities caused by tourism. In six recordings, the artist performs as an indigenous person and an urbanite and shuttles back and forth between different spaces of his indigenous community and the city, thereby interpreting the reality faced by indigenous cultures. There are two additional recordings - one is concerned with pursuits in good times that appear in the Truku myths and the other discusses the helplessness of indigenous cultures in the face of commercialization and tourism.
