作品簡介
"This is the state of mind that a young person constructs for themselves when placed in a new environment of the modern times." "I tini! I tira! icowa? Here! There! Where?"'s inspiration comes from the story of a friend who went surfing. This surfer was unfortunately trapped in waves and unable to get out when he struggled to do so, but he found out when he followed the waves he could get out. This reminded the artist of young generations in the present and strong yet different responses caused by the change from one old environment to a new one. The blue-shaded part starts with the perspective of the indigenous homeland and expresses indigenous people's yearnings and expectations, the phenomenon of them spreading like leaves falling from trees. The red-shaded part starts with the perspective of the city. Through using piles and repetitions of visual images generated through a machine, they suggest that there are rules and boredom in urban life.
