人物簡介
中央研究院民族學研究所副研究員。文化人類學者，主要研究大洋洲及南島之文化治理、文化遺產、法律人類學以及地方貨幣。曾擔任中央研究院民族學研究所博物館主任、台灣人類學與民族學學會理事長、台灣太平洋研究學會理事長、太平洋歷史學會副理事長、海洋委員會委員、文資審議委員等。
Dr. Pei-yi Guo is an Associate Research Professor at the Institute of Ethnology, Academia Sinica in Taiwan. With a Ph.D. in Anthropology, she has conducted longterm fieldwork in Oceania. Her research interests cover cultural governance, cultural heritage, legal anthropology, and local currency in the Pacific region.
Dr. Guo actively engages in various public anthropology practices and had held several positions, including Museum Director at the Institute of Ethnology, Academia Sinica; President of the Taiwan Society for Anthropology and Ethnology; President of the Taiwan Society for Pacific Studies; and Vice President of the Pacific History Association. She has also served as a member of the Ocean Affairs Council and the Cultural Heritage Review Board of the Ministry of Culture in Taiwan.
