人物簡介
具有威迦亞及溫巴溫巴族血統的歌手兼詞曲創作人艾麗絲．史凱現居墨爾本，在澳洲擁有許多樂迷。出生於澳洲維多利亞，史凱的兒時回憶滿是格蘭坪的砂岩群山和野花，雖現居墨爾本，其出生地至今仍是她的創作靈感來源。
史凱在臺灣的第一場海外演出「艾麗絲．史凱演唱會」將帶來一連串歌曲，靈感來自多年來撰寫的日記內容，她自述：「這些歌曲記錄了我生命中的各色光景。」
史凱2015年以首張單曲「你是群山」廣獲𥌓目，當時她是阿魯庫拉歌曲創作大賽八名得獎人之一，獲得在愛麗斯泉CAAMA錄音室錄音的機會，2015年底，史凱亦入圍音樂品牌Triple J Unearthed 舉辦的國際原住民音樂大賽決選名單，獲列名為五名必聽的原住民歌手之一。
身為「原住民族新人獎」的首屆得獎者，這位二十二歲來自澳洲的威迦亞歌手艾麗絲．史凱即將在國際舞台上展露頭角。
Melbourne based singer-songwriter and proud Wergaia / Wemba Wemba woman Alice Skye has been capturing musical hearts across Australia. Originally from country Victoria, Alice grew up aside the sandstone mountains and wildflowers of the Grampians. Still inspired by her roots, she now calls Melbourne home.
Alice Skye’s first overseas concert in Taiwan “Alice Skye in Concert” is a collection of songs taken from journal entries she has written over the years. “There are different landscapes and times in my life that these songs are a product of,” she said.
Alice Skye first caught national attention back in 2015 with her debut single You Are The Mountains. Recorded at the CAAMA Music studios in Alice Springs as one of 8 winners of the Alukura Songwriting Competition, late 2015 saw Alice chosen as finalist in the Triple J Unearthed NIMA competition and one of the 5 new Indigenous artists you need to hear.
Honoured as the inaugural recipient of the ‘First Peoples Emerging Artist Award’, the stage is now set at a national level for Alice Skye as the 22-year-old Wergaia woman from Australia.
