米羕老師出生於屏東縣南大武山的一個排灣小村落，小學唸到三年級就面臨大遷村，從深山遷到平地，生活更趨困苦，在半天上課，半天搬石頭、搬沙子建學校的日子裡完成了小學的課程。在自我不斷的學習下112年於國立高雄師範大學完成『台灣歷史文化語言研究所 』文學碩士及獲選文化部排灣族tlemenun傳統織布保存人（人間國寶）。
Teacher Miyang was born in a small Paiwan village in Miljingang Mountain, Pingtung County. When she was in the third grade of elementary school, she faced a major move to the village. She moved from the mountains to the plains, and her life became even more difficult. She had to attend classes for half the day and move stones and sand for the other half. The primary school curriculum was completed during the days when the school was built. Under continuous self-study, she completed a Master of Arts degree from the "Taiwan Institute of History, Culture and Language" at the National Kaohsiung Normal University in 2023 and was selected as the Preserver of the Paiwan tlemenun traditional weaving (a living national treasure) by the Ministry of Culture.
