人物簡介
泰雅族/太魯閣族藝術家,畢業於國立台北藝術大學美術系,曾多次遠赴澳洲,2013 年起陸續走訪復活節島 Rapa Nui、夏威夷、關島、紐西蘭、大溪地等,從國外原住民與主流社會之間的關係,反思臺灣原住民藝術與自我樣貌。以油畫為主要媒材,透過原創色彩、角色形象和議題式的內容,表達一種生命情境的感受與對土地的關懷之情。
Idas Losin is from the Truku and Atayal tribes. She graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts. She has visited Australia many times. Since 2013, she has visited Easter Island (Rapa Nui), Hawaii, Guam, New Zealand, Tahiti, and other places to reflect upon the art of indigenous peoples in Taiwan by observing the connections between the indigenous peoples and mainstream society abroad. Using oil painting as her main medium, she adopts original colors, imagery of different characters, and issue-focused content to express her feelings about life and compassion for the land.
